Euphonec Electronics

You can find us at Uchaithan Lines here in Allahbad. Euphonec Electronics is what we call ourselves. We deal with all sorts of electronic bits and pieces. Some days it’s repairs, other days it’s selling parts to people who are trying to fix things themselves. The shop is usually a bit of a mess with wires and components spread out over the workbenches. It’s hard to keep things tidy when you’re constantly taking things apart. We don’t have a lot of space, so we have to be clever with how we stack things on the shelves. It’s a quiet enough area, away from the really loud parts of the city, which helps when you need to concentrate on a small circuit board. We’ve had some of the same customers coming to us for years. They know we’re not going to give them a long speech or try to sell them something they don’t need. We just look at the problem and tell them if it can be fixed or not. That’s the honest way to do it. Sometimes we stay late because a job is tougher than we thought, but that’s just part of the trade. We don’t have any fancy signs or neon lights. Just a simple board with our name on it. It’s a modest way of living, but we enjoy the work we do. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work on things.
