Darbari Industries is based at 24 Mahatma Gandhi Marg. This address is right in the heart of things, and the office has a bit of an older feel to it. It’s not one of those new glass buildings you see popping up everywhere. We have high ceilings and heavy wooden doors that have been there for decades. When you walk in, you’ll see desks that are covered in papers and old ledgers. We still like to keep physical copies of things. The atmosphere is usually a bit formal but friendly. We’ve had the same staff for a long time, so we all know each other’s families and stories. On MG Marg, there is always a lot of noise from the street—horns honking and people shouting—but once you close the door, it gets much quieter. We spend our days dealing with industrial orders and talking to suppliers. Sometimes the phones ring off the hook, and other times it’s peaceful enough to actually get some filing done. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy slogans. We just talk to our customers like regular people. We’ve been at this location for so long that we’re a bit of a landmark for the regulars. It’s a steady kind of life here. We show up at the same time every morning, drink our tea, and get through the list of tasks we have for the day. It’s just how Darbari Industries has always run.
