You can find the Alirajpur Farmer Producer Company Limited over near Patel Faliya in Mayala Laxmani. We are set up at Edal Singh’s place. It’s a quiet area but we stay busy with all the farming stuff going on. Alirajpur is our home and we wanted to make sure the farmers here had a company they could call their own. Usually, it’s just a few of us sitting around and figuring out how to get our goods to market without too much trouble. We don't have a big fancy sign or a lobby, just a room where we keep our records and meet with the local growers. Edal Singh helps keep things organized. The farming around Mayala Laxmani is what we know best. We deal with the day-to-day things like getting enough supplies and making sure the harvest is stored correctly. It’s a lot of physical work and a lot of talking. We don't try to sound like experts, we just do what needs doing based on what we see in the fields. Most days, someone is stopping by to talk about the soil or the price of grain. We try to keep things simple and honest. Being a producer company means we all have a stake in it, which makes everyone work a bit harder. It’s a community thing more than anything else. We are just trying to make a living and help our neighbors do the same, without any of that corporate polish or fancy talk.
