We are located out in Dhanirampur village, which is part of the Falakata area in Jalpaiguri. It is a bit of a drive to get here since we are tucked away near Khagen Hat. Pabco Consultants Engineers & Contractors operates from a space at Jadu Gopal Das’s place. Being engineers and contractors in a place like this means we spend a lot of time on the road or at different sites. The office isn't where most of the action happens, but it’s where we keep all our records and plans. It’s a quiet village setting, very different from the big cities. We deal with a lot of local projects and the paperwork that comes with them. Sometimes the mail takes an extra day to reach us because of the rural address, but we manage. We aren't a big firm with hundreds of employees. It is just a few of us who know the local terrain and how things work around here. We’ve seen the district change over the years, but the way we work stays pretty much the same. We focus on the practical side of building and planning. Our tools are often dusty from the field, and our boots are usually muddy. We don't spend much on advertising because people in the village and surrounding towns know where to find us. It is just honest work in a quiet corner of West Bengal that keeps us going.
