New Tea Company Ltd.

Our company is based at the Matidhar Tea Estate, over in the Kamlabagan area of Phansidewa. We are right in the heart of the Darjeeling district, which is a place that everyone knows for its tea. We have been operating from this estate for a long time, and the landscape around here hasn't changed much. It is a lot of green hills and winding roads that can be a bit of a challenge during the monsoon season. We aren't a big, shiny company with a head office in a skyscraper. We work from the estate itself, where we can see the bushes every morning. Our days are tied to the rhythm of the harvest. When it is time to pluck the leaves, the whole place comes alive with activity. We have a lot of families who have lived and worked on this land for generations. We don't really do the whole corporate thing with slogans or mission statements. We just focus on the daily tasks of growing and drying the tea. The factory building is an old structure that has been patched up many times, but it does the job. We don't spend much time on the internet or doing fancy promotions. Most of our tea goes to people who have been buying from us for decades. It is a slow and steady way of working, and it suits us just fine.
