Little Angels School

People in Hamiltonganj know where we are. We've been at this spot in Jalpaiguri for years. Little Angels School isn't a massive campus with stadiums or anything like that. It’s a community school where local children come to study. We have the usual classrooms and a bit of space for the kids to run around during their breaks. It's often raining here in Jalpaiguri, so we spend a lot of time indoors. The building is older, but it serves its purpose well. Our staff is mostly people who live right here in Hamiltonganj. We know most of the parents by name. Mornings are busy with buses and parents dropping off their kids on scooters. We try to keep on top of things but schools are always a bit chaotic. That’s just how it is with children. We don’t go for flashy ads. Most people find out about us from their neighbors or relatives. The lessons are what the board says they should be, and we stick to that. Teachers do their best with what we have. It’s a quiet life here, mostly. We focus on getting the kids through their books and making sure they understand what they’re reading. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular school for the families living around here. We’ve seen many kids grow up and move on to bigger things from these classrooms. The office is usually cluttered with files but we know where everything is. The bell is manually rung by one of the staff members every hour.
