Hindustan Engeenering Works

Hindustan Engeenering Works is our little workshop located in Jaygaon, way up in the Jalpaiguri district. We are right on Road No.1, and the easiest way to find us is to look for the T.Poll and the Yonzon Gas Agency nearby. We’ve been here for a long time, working with metal and machines in this border town. It’s a busy place and our workshop is always full of the sound of welding and grinding. We don’t have a corporate office or anything polished like that. Our workspace is usually covered in metal shavings and oil, which is exactly how an engineering shop should be. Jaygaon is a unique place to live and work, and we’ve become a regular part of the landscape here on Road No.1. We don’t bother with fancy slogans or marketing. Most of our customers are locals who just know we can fix whatever they bring in. Whether it’s a broken part for a truck or some custom metalwork, we just get on with it. It’s hard, physical work and our hands are rarely clean, but that’s the nature of engineering. We like being near the gas agency because it’s a landmark everyone knows. If you’re passing through Jaygaon and need something made or repaired, you’ll find us easily enough by the noise of the machines. We just do our work and keep things simple without making a big production out of it. It is just what we do every day.
