Dooarsqueen Help Foundation

Dooarsqueen Help Foundation is located in a village called Chak Moulani. We are care of Abu Taher, near the Moulani Bazar area in Jalpaiguri. The post office is also Moulani, and our pin code is 735219. It is a beautiful part of West Bengal, way up in the northern side near the Dooars. Being near the bazaar means there is always activity around us, with people coming and going to buy their daily goods. Our office isn't a high-rise or anything like that. It is a simple building that fits right into the village. We spend our days here handling whatever comes our way for the foundation. It can be quite peaceful compared to the cities, though market days at Moulani Bazar get pretty loud. We like being close to the local community. There aren't any corporate lobbies or security guards here. You just walk up to the door. We have some basic furniture and our files, and that is about it. Most of us living nearby means we do not have a long commute, which is nice. We often sit outside if the weather is good to discuss things. It is a very practical and grounded way of working. We don't try to be something we aren't. We are just a small group of people working out of Jalpaiguri.
