R & Sons

R & Sons has been sitting here on N. S. Road in Jaygaon for a good while now. It’s a family thing, mostly just a few of us trying to keep things moving every day. Jaygaon is a busy place and our spot gets quite a bit of dust from the road, but we manage. People know where to find us. We don’t have any fancy offices or anything like that. It’s just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of work that needs doing. Sometimes the rain makes it hard to get stuff delivered on time because the road gets messy, but that’s just how it is around here. We started out small and stayed that way because it's easier to handle things ourselves. If you walk past the shop, you’ll probably see one of us sorting through papers or talking to a regular who just stopped by to chat. We don’t do much advertising. Most people hear about us from their neighbors or other shopkeepers nearby. It’s quiet enough in the mornings before the traffic picks up. We just try to get the orders right and keep the place organized, though it gets cluttered pretty fast. The kids sometimes come by after school. It’s not a big corporate setup, just a local business trying to make a living on N. S. Road. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but R & Sons is still right here in the same spot.
