Dr. B. R Ambedkar Study Centre Alipurduar

We are located right near the Court Post Office at Court More, which is a busy spot in Alipurduar. The study centre was set up because students in this area needed a quiet place to sit and prepare for their exams without too much noise from home. We have some books and tables where people can come and spend their day studying. It’s not a huge building, but we try to keep it organized so everyone can focus. A lot of people come here for competitive exam prep or just to read. Being near the court means there is always a lot of movement and noise outside, but inside we try to keep it relatively calm. We don’t have fancy air conditioning or anything, just fans and good lighting. The staff here are mostly local people who know the students and help them find what they need. Sometimes the shelves get a bit dusty and the chairs squeak, but we clean up when we can. It is a place for learning, named after Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, and we try to respect that legacy by keeping the doors open for anyone who wants to better themselves. We see a lot of the same faces every day, which is nice. If you are looking for us, just head towards the post office and you will see our sign. We usually open early so students can get a head start on their work before the heat of the day kicks in.
