P K Enterprises is right here on the Sarai Harnarayan Road, near the Sasni Gate area. It’s a busy part of the village, and we've been set up here for a good bit of time. We handle different kinds of supplies and general items that people in the Panch Nagari neighborhood need. The shop opens early in the morning because that’s when everyone is moving around. It’s dusty out on the road, so we spend a lot of time just cleaning the shelves and making sure things stay tidy. Our place isn't big, but we try to keep it stocked with what’s useful. People stop by on their way home or while they're out running errands. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. It's a simple operation. We know most of the people who walk through the door by name. It’s just how it is in a place like this. Sarai Harnarayan is a decent place to work, even if the road gets a bit noisy with the trucks. We’ve got our routine down. Every day is pretty much the same, checking the stock and talking to whoever drops in. We don't do anything fancy, just run the business as best as we can. It’s a local life, and it keeps us busy enough throughout the week. The Sarai Harnarayan Road can be a real mess after the rain, but we still open up every morning regardless.
