About Shobi Buckles Industries – Fashion & Trends in Aligarh
We are located over at Upper Fort Chowk, near Bundu Khan. It’s an old part of the city with narrow streets and lots of history. We make buckles and other small metal parts here. The workshop is usually a bit noisy because of the metal presses and the tools we use. It smells like oil and metal most of the time. We aren’t a huge factory, just a decent-sized workshop where we focus on the small details. My father used to run this place before me. We have some old machines that still work better than the new ones. People come to us when they need specific types of buckles for belts or bags. We keep bins full of different finishes like brass, silver, and black. It’s honest work and we don't try to make it sound more than it is. The shopfront is small but the work happens in the back. Sometimes it gets a bit messy with scraps of metal on the floor, but we clean up at the end of the day. It’s just a regular day-to-day business for us. We have a small tea stall just around the corner where we get our drinks. It’s a tight-knit community of craftsmen here. We don't really have a front desk, just a counter where we talk to customers about what they need for their leather goods.
