Shish Foundation

We are located on the first floor of the Suryapurmill Compound. The address is a bit of a mouthful, Sy850/1, Subpl-C Pl-11-12-13B. We are right behind the Gitanjali Asha Substation. It is an industrial sort of area, so there is always the sound of machinery or trucks nearby. Shish Foundation operates out of this space. It is a large room that we have divided up with some partitions. It is not the most modern place, but it has plenty of room for what we do. We have some old shelves stacked with supplies and documents. The mill compound has a lot of history and you can feel it in the walls. We spend our days here coordinating different tasks. It is often dusty because of the location, but we try to keep it clean. People usually have to call us for directions the first time because the compound is quite big. We do not have any fancy lobby or waiting area. You just come up the stairs and you are there. We are just a group of people working together. We do not use big words or pretend to be something we are not. We just show up every day and get to it. The substation nearby is a good landmark for finding us. It is a hardworking environment and we fit right in with the other units in the compound.
