Sarwar Classes

Sarwar Classes is down in the lower ground floor of Venus Tower on Medical Road. We are right in the Civil Lines area of Aligarh - 202001, which is a busy part of town. If you know where Jamia Urdu is, we are just opposite that. Being in the basement or lower ground floor means it stays a bit cooler during those hot Aligarh summers, which is nice for the students. The space is filled with benches and we’ve tried to make it as comfortable as possible for long study sessions. It’s not a grand place. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but the teaching is what matters. We get a lot of students from the university area and the nearby neighborhoods. I’m usually there from morning till late evening. We don't have a receptionist or anything fancy; you just walk in and talk to whoever is free. It’s a bit informal, but that’s how we like it. We focus on the subjects that people find the toughest. There’s always the sound of motorcycles and rickshaws from Medical Road, but once the class starts, everyone just focuses on the board. We use a lot of chalk and talk until our voices get a bit scratchy. It’s just how it is when you’re trying to help kids learn. Civil Lines is a good place to be, and we’re happy to be part of the local community here.
