Sarojani Clinic

Sarojani Clinic sits in Mandir Ka Nagla, right on Agra Road in Aligarh. We are not too far from the Aligarh New By-Pass, which is handy for people coming from different parts of the city. The clinic is a small building that we have been using for a while now. It’s a basic setup because we don't think you need much more than the essentials to do the job. Every morning, we sweep the front step and get the lights turned on before the first person arrives. Being near the temple means there is often some music or chanting in the background during certain times of the day, which is actually quite nice. The 202001 area stays active until late in the evening. Inside, we have a small desk and a few stools for patients to sit on while they wait. It’s a bit cramped when a whole family comes along for one person’s appointment, but we manage to make it work. We spend our time talking to people about their health and writing things down in our records. There is a lot of dust that comes off Agra Road, so cleaning is a never-ending task for us. We aren't a big hospital with hundreds of rooms, just a local spot where people feel comfortable stopping by when they need to. It’s a quiet life for the most part, just following the same routine week after week and helping whoever walks through the door during the day.
