Sajal Glass Industries is situated right in the middle of Patthar Bazar in Barah Dwari. If you know the market, you know it’s a maze of shops and workers. We’ve been here for a long time, surrounded by the sounds of the bazaar. We work with glass—cutting it, sizing it, and getting it ready for whoever needs it. It’s a delicate job in a very rough-and-tumble environment. Our shop is usually full of crates and glass shards that we have to be careful not to step on. People from all over come to Patthar Bazar for supplies, so we see a lot of different faces every day. We don't have a big marketing team or a fancy website. We just have our spot here in Barah Dwari where we’ve always been. The work is simple but requires a steady hand. Sometimes the heat in the market is unbearable, and other days the rain makes it hard to move the glass without it slipping. We just take it as it comes. We aren't trying to be some massive corporation. We’re just local people who know how to handle glass. Most of our customers are regulars who know they can just walk in and tell us what they need. It’s a lived-in kind of place, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We just cut the glass to size and hope it doesn't break on the way.
