S B Clinic & Hospital

S B Clinic & Hospital is situated out on Akbarpur Gonda Road in Aligarh. We are located near the tempo stand in the village of Bara Ganv Akbarpur. It’s a bit of a trek from the main Aligarh city, so we serve the village and the nearby rural areas mostly. The clinic isn't very big, but we have a few beds for people who need to stay over for observation. We see a lot of different cases every day, from high fevers to small injuries from the fields. The tempo stand is a good landmark because everyone in the village knows where that is. We have a few doctors who come in at different times throughout the week. It can be quite quiet some days during the harvest, and then very busy the next. We try to keep the place clean and ready for whoever shows up. Living and working in Akbarpur means we see the same faces quite often. We’ve been here for some years now, slowly adding bits and pieces to the hospital as we can afford to. It’s a practical place, nothing too grand or fancy. We deal with a lot of farming accidents or kids getting sick. The road outside can get very dusty, but inside we keep things as tidy as possible. We don't spend money on big ads or billboards. People just know we are here by the road. We do our work and talk to the patients.
