R.S. Overseas

R.S. Overseas operates out of Mig-34 in the Ada Colony, over in the Pawantika Phase-1 area. If you know Ram Ghat Road, you know it can get pretty backed up with traffic during the day. Our place is more of a home-turned-office setup, which makes it feel a lot less stiff than those corporate buildings downtown. We’ve got stacks of files and boxes sitting in corners because we’re always moving things around. It's a quiet colony for the most part, except for when the kids are playing outside or the vegetable vendors come around shouting their prices. We don't really do the whole suit-and-tie thing here. It’s mostly just casual clothes and a lot of phone calls. Dealing with overseas stuff means our hours can be a bit weird sometimes, staying up late or getting in early to catch someone in a different time zone. The neighbors are used to our cars being parked outside by now. It’s a straightforward operation without any bells and whistles. We spend a lot of time on the computer and checking on logistics. Sometimes the tea gets cold because we're busy arguing over a shipment detail. It’s just how the days go by here. We like being in this part of town; it feels more like a real neighborhood than a cold business district. There’s always someone dropping in for a quick chat or to drop off a package.
