Real Leather

You can find Real Leather at Asghari Lodge in the Ameer Nishan area. It’s a bit of a local landmark around here, so most people don’t have trouble finding us. We’ve been working with leather for years. It’s a tough job because the smell of the hides is quite strong, but we don't mind it anymore. The shop is full of different scraps and finished pieces. We don't have a big showroom with bright lights. It’s more of a workshop where we keep things organized the way we like. People come in looking for specific items, and we usually have to dig through a few drawers to find exactly what they need. It’s just me and a couple of helpers most days. We do a lot of the cutting and stitching right here on the premises. The tools we use are old but they still work perfectly fine. Ameer Nishan is a lively place, so there is always someone popping in to chat or ask a question. We don't do much advertising. Most of our work comes from people telling their neighbors about us. It’s a quiet life, mostly focused on making sure the leather is treated right. Sometimes we run out of certain materials and have to wait for the next delivery. We just tell people to come back in a week or so. That's how we’ve always done things here at Asghari Lodge. We don't plan on changing it.
