Ravi Masala Udhyog

We’ve been working out of this spot at Nadrai Gate for a long time now. Our building is on Street Manota, which is in the Ghantagar area of Etah. It’s right near the Main Market Road, so it stays pretty busy from morning until night. We spend our days grinding and mixing various masalas for Ravi Masala Udhyog. It’s a noisy job and the smell of ground chilies is always in the air. Sometimes it makes the new guys sneeze for the first week, but you get used to it. The shop isn’t anything fancy. It’s just a practical space where we have our heavy machines and stacks of sacks filled with raw spices. My family has been doing this for years, and I just took over the daily operations. We don’t have a big corporate team or anyone to do fancy advertising. Most of our customers are people from the nearby villages or local shopkeepers who have known us forever. The heat in the summer can be tough, especially with the machines running, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit outside for a bit until it comes back. We don’t try to be the biggest company in the district. We just want to make sure the bags of masala we sell are worth the money. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us busy every single day.
