Brass Hardware India

Our place, Brass Hardware India, is tucked away in the Danpur Compound in Rasal Ganj. It’s a very busy area and finding a parking spot can be a bit of a gamble most mornings. We work mainly with brass, so the whole shop usually has that yellow metallic glow when the sun hits the storage bins. We make all sorts of bits and pieces for doors and furniture. It’s a traditional kind of business. My uncle used to run things here, and now we’ve taken over the daily grind. The polishing machines are almost always humming in the background. It gets a bit noisy, but you get used to it after a few years. We don't have a big fancy website or a bunch of salespeople in suits. People usually just find us through word of mouth or they’ve been buying from this compound for many years. We spend our time checking the casts and making sure the threads on the screws are actually straight. Sometimes the heat in Rasal Ganj is unbearable in June, but we keep the fans going and keep moving. We aren't corporate people. We wear work clothes and get our hands dirty every single day. If a shipment is late, we just tell the customer the truth about why. We don’t use a lot of big words or promotional talk. We just make brass hardware and try to keep the business steady for the next generation. It’s a decent way to make a living for us.
