R. S. Precicut

Our shop, R. S. Precicut, is over at 89/3, right on 4Th Main and 6Th Cross Road in Rajajinagar. This is the Industrial Town part, so it is all workshops and factories around us. The smell of oil and the sound of metal being cut is just part of the day here. We have some heavy machinery for precision cutting. It is oily and loud, but that is the nature of the work we do. I started this place after working in another factory for ten years. It is a small unit, but we have enough space for the machines and a small corner for a table and chairs. The floor is concrete and always has some metal shavings on it. We wear heavy boots and stay busy from morning till evening. Rajajinagar is a good spot for this kind of thing because everyone else is doing something similar. If we need a part or a tool, there is usually a shop nearby that has it. It is a lot of manual labor, measuring things twice and making sure the cuts are right. We do not have a sales team. If you want something done, you talk to me or the boys on the floor. We get our hands dirty every day. The tea guy comes around at 11 and 4, which is the best part of the shift. It is just honest, hard work in a dusty industrial shed. We like it that way and we just keep the machines running.
