You can find our workshop at 33, Dhanlaxmi Industrial Estate, right near the Police Commissioner’s Office in Shahibaug. Being so close to the police office means it is a pretty easy landmark to give people when they are trying to find us. We have been in this estate for a long time. Our space is filled with machines and tools because we do a lot of fabrication and metal work. It is not a clean job; there is usually iron filings on the floor and the smell of oil in the air. We do not have a big front office or anything like that. If you come by, you will probably find us in our overalls working on a lathe or welding something. Shahibaug is a busy part of Ahmedabad, and this industrial estate is always humming with the sound of other shops. We are just a small crew of people who enjoy working with our hands. We do not bother with fancy advertising or anything like that. Most of our work comes from people who know us or heard about us from someone else in the trade. We just focus on getting the dimensions right and making sure the metalwork is sturdy. It is a simple, honest way to make a living, and we have been doing it this way for years without needing to change much. We just stick to what we know.
