R.K. Overseas

You’ll find R.K. Overseas over at 19, Saumitra Nagar. We’re in the Amaraiwadi area. It’s a bit of an older part of town, which we actually like. There’s a sense of community here that you don’t get in the newer developments. Our office is just a regular building on a regular street. We’ve been here at Saumitra Nagar for years. The neighbors know us, and we know them. It’s not a high-tech facility with automated doors. You just walk in and see us working. R.K. Overseas is a small operation. We don’t have a lot of fancy furniture or art on the walls. Mostly it’s just shelves, desks, and whatever we are working on at the moment. Amaraiwadi can be a bit dusty and loud during the day, but we’re used to it. We just keep the windows shut when the traffic gets too much. We aren't trying to be something we’re not. We’re just local people running a business from a spot we know well. There’s no big mission statement on the wall. We just show up in the morning, do what needs to be done, and go home. If you’re looking for us, number 19 is easy to spot. We’re usually there from morning until late afternoon. It’s a simple life and a simple way of doing business. We have been here so long the building feels like part of the family.
