R. K. Engg. Corporation is located on Agra Road, right across from the Singal Dhram Kanta in Aligarh. If you are driving down Agra Road, you can’t miss the landmark of the Dhram Kanta, and we are just right there. Our workshop is a typical engineering setup for this part of the country. It’s a bit dusty because of the road traffic and the nature of the work we do. We have been here for many years and have become a familiar sight for people traveling this route. The building is older and has that lived-in feel, with oil stains on the floor and tools that have seen a lot of use. We don't have a big corporate office or a team of secretaries. It’s usually just us and a few workers handling the engineering jobs that come our way. We spend a lot of time outside or in the open part of the shed because it gets very hot inside during the summer. Aligarh is known for this kind of work, and we are just one of the many shops trying to keep things moving. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. We just take the work as it comes and try to stay on top of it. It’s a simple life on Agra Road, and we are content with our small corner of the district. We just keep the machines oiled and the doors open for business every morning.
