Prakash Battery Udyog

You can find our shop right near the New Roadways Bus Stand on the GT Road. Prakash Battery Udyog has been sitting in this same spot for quite a long time now. The noise from the buses and the horns is constant every single day. It is a dusty place because of all the heavy traffic moving on the main road just outside our door. We deal with heavy lead batteries all day long. My back usually feels a bit sore by the evening from lifting them off the trucks. We have stacks of old and new batteries piled up everywhere you look. It smells like metal and battery acid most of the time. We do not have any fancy chairs for people to sit on while they wait. If you come by to see us, you will probably see us with grease and dirt on our hands. We spend a lot of time charging up the units and checking the water levels in the cells. It is simple work but you have to do it right or the batteries will not last. The GT Road is always moving, so we get a lot of truck drivers stopping in for a quick check. They are usually in a big hurry to get to the next city. We try to work as fast as we can so they can get back on their way. The shop is not much to look at from the outside. We have an old desk where we keep the receipts. We stay open until the last bus leaves the stand.
