Prachi Clinic

You can find us over at the Super Bazar in Baroli Raav, part of the Aligarh Ho area. It’s a bit of a chaotic spot because of all the shops nearby. Finding parking is always a headache for everyone, so most people just walk or take a rickshaw. The clinic itself is quite small, just a couple of rooms really. We’ve got some old wooden cabinets where we store all the supplies and a desk that’s been here since the place opened. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't had the time to close down for a day to do it. It’s a busy life here in Aligarh. People are always in a rush. I try to keep things organized, but when the waiting room fills up, the paperwork starts piling up on my desk. We use those old-fashioned hand-written registers because they never crash like a computer does. The ceiling fan wobbles a little when it’s on the high setting, but it keeps the air moving. It’s just a local clinic for regular people. We don’t do anything flashy. Most days are spent looking at charts and talking to the folks from the neighborhood who have been coming here for years. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down. The Super Bazar is always noisy, but once you step inside, it’s a bit quieter and we can actually hear what people are saying to us.
