Down here in Aligarh, at 4 1129 Sir Syed Nagar, you’ll find the office for Petrofac Engineering I Limited Mumbai. It’s a bit of a trek if you aren't familiar with this part of Uttar Pradesh, but it’s home for us. The address 202002 is where we spend most of our daylight hours. Sir Syed Nagar is a place with a lot of history and a lot of students usually moving about. Our office is tucked away, and it isn't something you would notice if you weren't looking for it specifically. It’s a plain building, nothing special to look at from the sidewalk. Inside, we keep things simple. There are chairs, tables, and the usual computers. It gets quite hot in Aligarh during the peak months, so the office is mostly about keeping cool and staying on top of the work. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to answer the phones with a scripted greeting. Usually, it's just one of us picking up when we aren't busy with a drawing or a report. We’ve been in this spot for a bit, and the neighbors know us. We like being part of the Aligarh community rather than being stuck in a giant industrial park somewhere else. It makes the workday feel a bit more human. We just focus on the engineering tasks at hand and try to stay organized in our own way. It's not a perfect system, but it's ours and it works for what we need to do.
