Maa Bhagwati Interlocking Brick

You can find us at Mukandpur Chauraha on Agra Road. We are situated in the fourth spot of the Ipf Pcs coaching center, which is a building everyone knows. We make interlocking bricks here at Maa Bhagwati. It’s a lot of outdoor work. The dust from the brick making gets everywhere, even inside the small office we have. We started this because there’s always someone building a wall or a house nearby. Agra Road is always busy with traffic, so we hear the horns all day. We have a few guys helping with the mixing and the molds. It is a simple process but it takes a lot of sweat. We don't use any high-tech stuff, just the standard machines. We stack the bricks in high piles near the road so people can see them. Sometimes we have a chat with the students from the coaching center when they're on break. It’s a decent spot for a business like ours. We don’t have a big marketing plan. We just wait for people to stop their trucks and ask about prices. The rain is our biggest enemy because it slows down the drying. Other than that, we just keep the molds moving and try to stay ahead of the orders. It’s just us doing what we do. My younger brother helps me with the books in the evening. We don't have a computer, just a large ledger where we write down every brick that leaves the yard. The Agra Road can be noisy with all the buses going to the city.
