M & R Security Services is tucked away in Raj Nagar Colony. Our office is right by the Bypass Road, which makes it easy enough to get around. It’s pretty simple to spot our location because the Cebu Light Showroom is just a short walk away. Most people use that as a landmark when they are coming to visit us for the first time. The traffic out on the bypass is always moving, so there is this constant hum of engines in the background while we work. We aren't a big corporate firm with a lot of layers. It’s just a local operation where we handle the security needs of businesses and homes around here. The office itself is quite simple, with just some basic furniture and a few old filing cabinets for the paperwork. We spend a lot of time on the phone, coordinating shifts and making sure the guards are doing alright at their posts. Most of our staff are local guys who know the area well. We don't go in for any of that fancy business talk. We just try to be honest and do the work we said we’d do. Sometimes the schedules get messy when someone calls in sick, and we have to scramble to find a replacement. That’s just the reality of this kind of business, I suppose. We’ve been here for a good while now, and we’ve gotten to know the other owners in the colony. It feels like a real neighborhood to us. It’s a lot of long hours, but we're glad to be here.
