Lock Master India Pvt.Ltd. is located at C-20 in the Industrial Estate. This part of town is always humming with the sound of machinery and trucks. Our place is no different; it’s a functional space where we handle all sorts of locks and security hardware. The floor is concrete, and there’s usually a faint smell of metal and oil in the air, which you stop noticing after being here for five minutes. We have a lot of heavy shelving to hold the inventory, and sometimes it feels like we are running out of room. The office part is just a small section partitioned off from the main warehouse area. It’s got a few old desks and some filing cabinets that have seen a lot of use over the years. We don't really have a cleaning crew coming in every hour, so there’s a bit of dust on the higher shelves. Most of the guys here have been working together for a long time, so we just get on with it without needing much direction. When a delivery truck arrives, everyone chips in to help unload, regardless of what their job title is. The Industrial Estate can be a bit grim when it rains because of the mud, but we just put on our boots and keep moving. It’s a honest day’s work in a place that’s built for utility rather than comfort or style.
