L & T

We are tucked away at 4/183 in Kela Nagar, Aligarh. Most people know the L & T name, but this particular spot is just our local base here in Uttar Pradesh. It’s a normal street, nothing too special to look at from the outside. We deal with the day-to-day operations that come with being part of a big engineering setup, but on a much smaller, local scale. The office gets a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time. We have a lot of maps and site plans lying around on the desks. Aligarh is a busy place, and Kela Nagar has its own pace. We try to keep up with the projects without making too much of a fuss. It’s mostly about getting the equipment and people to the right places at the right time. We drink a lot of chai and talk about the current jobs we are working on. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just have to wait it out, which is just part of life here. We don't have a big receptionist or fancy carpets. It’s just desks, chairs, and a lot of work to do. We’ve been at this address for a good while, so the postman knows exactly where to drop the heavy envelopes. We just keep our heads down and do what needs doing for the projects in this region. There is always a lot of dust on the windows, but we don't mind much as long as the work is getting finished.
