Our place is right by the Soot Mill Chauraha, which is always a bit chaotic with the traffic coming off the Bypass Baraula Road. We are sitting right in front of the Buddh Vihar Depot, so we see the buses pulling in and out at all hours of the day. The noise is something you just get used to after a week or so. Our building is a simple structure where we keep our stock and handle our daily business. We deal with a lot of different things depending on what people are asking for that month. It’s a busy intersection, so we get a lot of walk-in traffic from people who are just passing through or waiting for a bus at the depot. The floor is usually a bit dusty because of the road construction nearby and the soot from the old mills, but we sweep it out when we get a chance. We don't have any big signs or bright lights, just the name on the front. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves and a small desk where we do the accounts. The guys from the depot often stop by for a chat during their breaks. It is a practical kind of setup, designed to move goods and talk to customers without any extra fuss. We’ve been at this spot for a good while and have seen the road change quite a bit over the years. It’s a honest living and we stay busy enough.
