Khakums International

You can find us over at Rathi Nagar, near the post office in Bhadesi. That’s where Khakums International is based. We’ve been here for a while. It’s not exactly in the center of a big city, but we like it that way. We deal with international trade and logistics, which involves a lot of back-and-forth with different people. The office is pretty plain. We have our computers and a lot of files piled up on the shelves. It’s not the kind of place that would impress a corporate executive, but it works for us. We spend a lot of our time checking on shipments and making sure the numbers match up. Being near the post office is actually pretty convenient for some of the things we do. Rathi Nagar is a decent place to work. We know the local shops where we get our lunch. We don't have a fancy mission statement or a bunch of slogans. We just try to make sure that whatever needs to get from point A to point B actually gets there. Sometimes things get delayed at the ports or there’s a problem with the documents, and we just have to sit and solve it. It can be stressful, but it’s what we know. We are just a small group of people working hard in a quiet corner of Bhadesi. It’s a steady living and we aren't trying to change much about it.
