J.D. Ayurvedic Medical College Hospital

This hospital is right on GT Road in Bhankri, Niranjankot. You can’t miss it because we are directly opposite the Hindustan Press. The road is always loud with trucks and buses passing by at all hours. It’s a big building since it’s part of the medical college too. You see students in their white coats walking around the grounds or sitting on the steps. There is a bit of a garden area, but the grass is often dry in the heat. Inside, the halls are wide and the ceilings are high. It feels cool when you step in from the sun. We have a lot of wooden cupboards where we keep various supplies. The smell of herbs is quite strong in some sections, which is expected. We’ve been here for years, watching the traffic on GT Road get heavier and heavier. The press across the street is always busy too, so there is a lot of activity in this corner of Niranjankot. We have a lot of benches in the waiting rooms because many people come from the villages nearby. It’s a busy place, but we try to keep things moving. The reception desk is always a bit chaotic with people asking questions. We just take it one person at a time. It’s a lot of work, but this is where we are and what we do every single day.
