Janta Hospital

Our hospital is situated out by the Melrose Bypass, right near Nandanvan Colony. Being near the bypass means we get a lot of people who are traveling or living in the newer parts of the city. The building is fairly easy to spot from the road. We have a decent amount of space here, with different sections for various medical needs. The atmosphere is a bit different than the hospitals in the crowded city center because we have a little more breathing room out here. However, the sound of trucks and cars on the bypass is a constant backdrop to our day. We have a ward with several beds and a waiting area that’s usually filled with people from Nandanvan Colony. The floors are stone and stay relatively cool even when the sun is beating down on the bypass. We have a small reception desk where we keep track of everyone coming in. It’s a busy place but we try to keep a handle on things without making it feel too clinical or cold. We have some plants in pots near the entrance to make it look a bit more welcoming. Most of the people who work here live nearby, so there is a real local feel to the place. We aren't trying to be anything other than a reliable hospital for this side of town. It’s just about being here when the neighbors or travelers need some medical attention. We keep the doors open and the staff is always around if someone stops by.
