Indian Feeds Company

Indian Feeds Company is located at the old Soot Mill area on GT Road in Sarsol. It’s a gritty part of town, but it suits us just fine. The building itself has seen better days, but it’s sturdy and holds all the feed we process. Being right on the GT Road means we see a lot of trucks passing by all day and night. The air inside the facility usually smells like grain and molasses, which is something you get used to pretty quickly. We’ve got a small team of workers who know how to run the mixers and loaders. It’s a dusty job, and we all end up covered in it by the end of the shift. Sarsol is a busy hub, and we’ve been part of it for a long time. We don’t have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures for us. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming to the Soot Mill for years. We just focus on getting the mix right for the livestock. If a machine breaks down, we fix it ourselves and keep going. It’s not always easy, especially when the heat hits in the summer, but the work needs to be done. We keep things pretty informal here. You can usually find the manager sitting near the entrance with a ledger, keeping track of the loads coming in.
