Aligarh is a busy place, and our spot in the Industrial Estate at A-12 and 13 is no different. We’ve been making thermometers here for a long time. If you’ve ever had a fever and used a glass thermometer, there’s a good chance it came from a place like ours. It’s a bit old-fashioned in some ways because working with glass and mercury or digital sensors requires a steady hand. The factory floor is always humming with some kind of machine noise. We aren't a new startup with bean bags; we are an established company with deep roots in this industrial zone. Our workers have been with us through many seasons. We focus on getting the scales right so the temperature reads correctly. It’s a lot of checking and re-checking. The office part of the building is functional, filled with ledgers and old desks. We deal with hospitals and pharmacies all over the country from this specific corner of Uttar Pradesh. It gets hot in the summer here, but the production keeps moving. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or big speeches. We just make sure the glass is clear and the numbers are legible. It’s honest work that people actually need. We’ve seen the industry change from simple glass tubes to digital screens, and we just keep adapting the best we can while staying right here in Aligarh.
