City Clinic

City Clinic is on Nadikarim Road over in Hamderd Nagar, part of Anoop Shehar. It’s a quiet spot most of the time, though the street outside can get dusty when the wind picks up. We have a small storefront with a simple sign above the door. Inside, there are two small consultation rooms and a desk where we handle the appointments. We don’t have a lot of space, so things can get a bit crowded if more than three families show up at once. Most of the people who come in live right here in Hamderd Nagar. We know many of them by their first names. The floor is made of that gray stone that stays cold even in the summer. We keep a water cooler in the corner for the patients. Some days the doctor is running behind because he spends a long time talking to the older folks who live nearby. We don't mind much, it's just the way things go here. The shelves behind the counter are filled with patient files in colorful folders. We spend a lot of our afternoon tidying up and making sure we have enough basic supplies. There isn't much in the way of decoration, just a couple of calendars on the wall. It’s a practical place for people to come when they aren't feeling well. We've been on Nadikarim Road for quite a while now and we've gotten used to the rhythm of the street. People drop in for advice or just to get their pressure checked.
