Maa Vaishno Hardware is down in Civil Line Begam Bagh. We’ve been here for a while now, selling mostly the stuff people need for fixing up their houses or working on small projects. It’s a busy spot. You’ll find things like pipes, some tools, different kinds of screws, and the basic things that always run out when you’re doing repairs. People from around the neighborhood stop by when they’re missing a specific wrench or just need a can of paint that matches what they have. It’s not a huge place but we try to keep the shelves full. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded inside with all the boxes piled up. We know most of the regulars by name since they live just a few streets over. If someone comes in looking for something we don’t have on the shelf, we usually try to figure out where they can get it or see if it’s coming in the next delivery. It's just a regular hardware shop, nothing too fancy. The morning hours are usually the busiest because of the local workers coming in before they start their day’s job. We spend a lot of time sorting through bins of washers or checking the stock of hammers. It’s mostly just us working here, making sure things stay organized enough so people can find what they need without searching for an hour. Sometimes the traffic outside Begam Bagh makes deliveries slow, but we manage.
