Beads Village

Our place is right in the middle of Main Market here in Purdil Nagar. It’s a busy spot, mostly because of all the people coming through for supplies. Beads Village isn't some fancy showroom; it’s more of a workspace where we get things done. You’ll find us surrounded by bags of beads and small containers every day. Most of the time, the floor is covered in tiny bits of glass or plastic that escaped from a broken bag. We spend a lot of our mornings just sorting through colors and sizes to make sure everything is where it should be. It gets pretty loud outside with the rickshaws and people shouting, but we’re used to it. The shop has been here for a while, and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy with orders to worry about that. We have some heavy desks where we weigh everything out. Sometimes the electricity goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit by the front door where there’s a bit more light from the street. It’s a simple setup. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know where everything is kept. When someone comes in looking for something specific, we usually have to dig through a few crates to find the right shade of blue or red. It is just how things work around here.
