The shop at No. 12/88 Bani Israilan is where we handle most of the heavy lifting. It’s an old building, tucked away, but it serves its purpose. We have stacks of leather piled up against the walls. Some of it is thick, some thin. We’ve been in this spot long enough that the locals know us. The street gets busy in the mornings, so we try to get our deliveries in early. It’s a bit cramped inside with all the materials, but we know where everything is. You’ll usually find one of us hunched over a bench. We don’t have a big sign out front, just the address. The lighting isn't the greatest, but we have some good lamps for the detail work. There’s always dust in the air from the cutting. We don’t mind it much. Sometimes the neighbors pop in for a chat while we work. It’s just how things go around here. We handle the orders as they come. No fancy computer systems, just a notebook and some pens. It gets the job done without any fuss. The floor is concrete and has some stains from the dyes we use. It shows the history of the place, I guess. We like being part of the neighborhood. It feels like home to us after all these years. There is always a pot of coffee going somewhere in the back. We just keep our heads down and work.
