Anand Eye Centre

Anand Eye Centre is located right opposite the Union Bank of India on Ramghat Road. This is a busy part of the city, and having the bank right across the street makes it very easy for people to find where we are. Ramghat Road is always full of cars, rickshaws, and people going about their business. Our space is on the main floor, and when you walk in, you’ll see some rows of chairs where people sit and wait. It’s a bit of a plain room, with white walls and some posters that have been there for years. We have a few small rooms in the back for the actual work, and they are usually kept a bit darker. The floor is tiled and sometimes sounds a bit hollow when you walk on it. We don't have a big reception desk with a fancy logo, just a simple counter where we keep the ledger and some pens. The windows are usually covered to keep the afternoon sun from heating up the place too much. On busy days, the room gets a bit crowded and the air conditioner has to work extra hard to keep things comfortable. We know the security guard at the bank across the way, and we see the same vendors passing by every single afternoon. It’s a very local feel, and we like being right in the middle of all that activity on Ramghat Road without being too flashy about it.
