You can find Anamika Enterprises at No. 5/408 in the New Ashok Nagar Colony. We are just off Goolar Road. It’s a residential area mostly, so it’s a bit quieter than the main market area. We deal with various general items and wholesale supplies. I started this business from this spot because it’s close to where I live and easy for me to manage. The office is part of the ground floor of the building. It’s not very big, but it’s enough for the three of us who work here every day. We have some shelves with samples and a couple of desks that are usually covered in papers. Most of our day is spent on the computer or talking to people who drop by for an inquiry. Goolar Road is the main way people get to us. The colony itself is quite peaceful, though the road can get a bit muddy when it rains heavily. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything fancy like that. We just rely on the people in New Ashok Nagar knowing we are here and telling their friends. Sometimes we have tea together in the afternoon and talk about how the day is going or what needs to be done. It’s a small, family-run kind of thing. We try to keep things simple and honest with everyone. If we don’t have something in stock, we just say so. It’s a steady pace of work. We open up around nine and wrap things up by seven.
