Amu Innovation Foundation

The Amu Innovation Foundation is located at CARET, which is inside the Aligarh Muslim University campus in Aligarh, 202001. Being on a university campus gives our work a specific kind of feel. There is always a lot of movement and students talking about new ideas. We have been here for a while and we enjoy the atmosphere. Our office isn't very large and it is often quite messy with various projects we are working on. We focus on innovation, but we do it in a very practical, hands-on way. We don't have a corporate office with glass walls or expensive furniture. We have old wooden desks and a lot of notebooks. We aren't a big company with a lot of rules. We just work on things that seem interesting and useful. Aligarh is a city with a lot of tradition, and we try to blend that with new ways of thinking. It’s not always easy to get things started, but we keep trying. We don't spend money on advertising or fancy websites. Most of the people who know us are students or teachers from the university. We like it that way because it keeps us grounded. If you are walking through the AMU campus, you can usually find someone who knows where CARET is. We are just a small group of people trying to build something new in an old city.
