Our place is located on the Aligarh Palwal Road in Village Kurana. It’s a bit different than being in the middle of a big city. We have more space and it’s a bit more relaxed, although the road stays busy with people traveling between Aligarh and Palwal. We build things, mostly houses or small structures for people around the village and the nearby areas. It’s hard work, especially when the sun is out and it's 40 degrees. We don't have a big office building. It’s more of a practical space where we can meet and talk about where the walls should go. People around here know us by name. We don't really do advertisements. If someone likes what we did for their neighbor, they come find us. That’s how it’s always been. We use local materials when we can. Sometimes the supply of bricks is slow, and we have to wait, but that’s just how it goes in this part of the country. We aren't trying to be the biggest builders around. We just want to make sure the roofs don't leak and the walls stay straight. It’s honest work and we enjoy being out in the open air most of the time. If you’re driving down the Aligarh Palwal Road, you’ll likely see some of our work near Kurana without even realizing it. We just keep building.
