Kamakshi Enterprises

Our place is at Achal Kothi, right opposite D. S. College. Being across from a college means there’s always a lot of energy and young people walking around, which is quite nice most of the time. We handle various enterprise tasks from our office here. It’s an old building, so it has some character, like doors that creak and windows that don't always stay open on their own when you want a breeze. We spend our days dealing with various suppliers and customers who drop in to see us. It’s not a polished corporate environment at all. We have old wooden desks and piles of files that we really should sort through one of these days when we have some free time. Sometimes we get distracted watching the students across the street or the tea vendor setting up his stall for the afternoon rush. Our work is pretty standard—lots of record-keeping and making phone calls to people. We don’t have any fancy slogans or marketing plans. We just stay here in Achal Kothi and do our thing. If the college has a big event, the whole street gets blocked with bikes, and we just have to deal with it. It’s just part of being in this location. We like the neighborhood, and most of the people around here know us by name. We just focus on getting through our daily list of tasks and making sure the shop is ready for the next day. It’s just a normal business day.
