A K Varshney Clinic

Our clinic is right near the Sabji Mandi in the Dubey Ka Parav area of Aligarh. Being close to the vegetable market means it is always lively around here. You can hear the vendors calling out their prices all through the day. The clinic itself is a modest place. We do not have a big neon sign, just a regular board so people can find us. It is a neighborhood clinic where we see all sorts of people. Some come in with a cough, others just need a quick consultation. The building is older, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it is a functional space. We have a small desk where we keep all the records, mostly handwritten in registers. It is the way we have always done it. Aligarh is a place where people appreciate a direct approach, so that is what we give them. We do not have fancy air conditioning in every corner, but the ceiling fans work well enough. Sometimes the smell of the market carries over, reminding us of where we are. We know most of our patients by their first names. It is a community spot more than anything else. We open up early to catch people before they head to the market or work. It is not a glamorous job, but it is important to the people who live in Dubey Ka Parav. We just keep doing our bit every day for the locals.
