Sachin Steel

Sachin Steel is based out of Pnp Nagar. We are in Building No. 2, specifically Flat No. 12. It might seem a bit different running a steel business from a flat, but it works for how we handle our paperwork and coordination. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out at different sites checking on things. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so we try not to be too loud when we are in the office or moving files around. We deal with various steel items, mostly helping people get the materials they need for their local projects or small repairs. It started small and we just kept it going year after year. We don't have a giant showroom with bright lights and fancy displays. It’s more about knowing the right people to get the stock from when someone asks. Sometimes the deliveries can be a bit tricky with the building layout and the stairs, but we manage somehow. My family helps out sometimes when things get really busy and the phone won't stop ringing. We have a few old ledgers where we write everything down by hand. It’s simple and it works for us. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, just trying to make a living and provide decent steel to those who ask for it. Pnp Nagar is a good place to be. You get to know your neighbors after a while. Most of our work comes from word of mouth. Someone tells a friend we have some steel, and they call us up. We just take it day by day here.
