Laxman Lal Meghwal

Being in Sojat City is something else. Most people know this area for the henna, but for me, Alawas is just home. Laxman Lal Meghwal is my name and this little spot here is where I spend most of my time. It’s not a huge setup. The building is older, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for what we need. The sun hits the front of the place pretty hard in the afternoon, so we usually keep the shutters half-down to stay cool. It’s a quiet enough part of town, though you get the occasional tractor or bike zooming past. I’ve been working out of this location for a long time now. My family has always lived around here, so I know most of the faces that walk by. We don’t have any big corporate goals or anything like that. We just wake up, open the doors, and get to work. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow, but we deal with it. It’s a small town life, you know? There isn’t much rush here compared to the big cities. I like it that way. If someone stops by, we usually have a glass of water and a quick chat before getting back to business. It’s a honest way to spend the day. Nothing too complicated goes on here. We just try to keep things moving along.
